Christmas-Parents Visit

Parker was not about to get close to Santa and grabbed onto Nick like his life dependent on it

My parents visited for Christmas and Parker had a great time getting spoiled.

We ventured out to look at Christmas lights. Grandpa thought Parkers hands were cold so he put his gloves on him.

Getting ready to go to Church on Christmas eve. Earlier in the day we took Parke to ITZ party place and he enjoyed playing games!

He carefully put Santa's cookies and a carrot for the reindeer out by the tree

They shifted around during the transfer so he had to rearrange them on the plate

can not forget the milk

It took about 2 hours and 4 adults to just complete putting together the kitchen and train set then getting everything setup nicely. We were tired but it was so worth it!!
It took us a while to get him away from this and his kitchen to look at the other gifts and he wanted nothing to do with unwrapping anything until we started it for him and he realized there were more cool things to be discovered.

He was ready for a ride

He would fling the wrapping paper as he ripped into the gifts

Love the flashlight he got with his cars sleeping bag from great uncle Gregg and had to put the batteries in by himself

then he got into the sleeping bag and turned on his flashlight

Daddy's boston blanket. Santa and "her" elves were up lateworking on this the night before Christmas. Killing their backs trying to sit on the ground and tie the knots

the flashlight had to be used to find gifts and open them, big helper

The mug he made for daddy since we changed up the fathers day tradition this year and made him a plate. daddy was disappointed so we made him one for Christmas, he will never not get a mug made by Parker again for fathers day!

he loved his tank and big truck along with the special hot wheels (motorcycle...etc) given to him by Ella (Emily's baby)

Now he has a nice big boy booster so he can more easily sit at the table with us

Gosh, how did Santa know daddy would love this =)

Cookie baking mix, frosting and cookie cutters from his great uncles

Showing the grandparents his hand print he made, he made these for all the grandparents...plus other goodies that were late!

Me trying to open this massive box

And another box from the big box

And another box inside there...then a new faster, more storage computer and awesome software I can do more scrapbooking on!!

cant understand why we cant go for a ride

Loves to bounce

Awesome car track from grandma Lynn and Grandpa Arthur...he loved it

daddy got coal

watching one of his million movies from the grandparents

The kitchen has taken over the living room but he is so worth it!

He wanted to sleep with his new sleeping bag
Him and grandpa spent a lot of time with the trains, grandpa had to get some more tracks because he didn't think Parker had enough variety. grandma made the awesome train mat for him

putting together his new puzzle

Nick and I enjoyed a nice dinner out and drinks with friends

Grandpa had the idea to make Parker a fort so him and I made a house and Grandma decorated it
