singing in the shower, counting to 10

Little animated Parker gets crazy singing in the shower:

We have been working with him on counting to 10. He just sounds so cute trying to say the numbers:

Some of the things he says way to much in a day in his cute baby voice:
Stop it, Come on, tickle tickle, more

Over and over again during the day he wants to do "this little piggy" he does it on our fingers and toes. We can not understand him until he gets to "wewewe home" and tickles us. He cracks himself up over it.

Parker is into reading his stories to himself before bed now. It is amazing how much he has memorized from us reading to him.

He is now afraid of the swings and wants on them but when they move freaks out. He also will not touch finger pain anymore.

Happy Mothers Day

We hope all mammas had a great Mothers Day! Parker made me yummy cinnamon roles for breakfast and got me a precious moments to add to my collection. It is a little boy holding flowers and a card that says "I Love Mom", perfect! Nick took us up in the mountains to picnic at the same location we went last mothers day. He thought I would like to go to the same place and have pictures of Parker to compare from year to year. We also went to Garden of The Gods and walked around. It was a slightly chilly misty day but we had a great time as a family.

All tuckered out after the long day

Parker helped me plant the garden and loved being my helper. He moved a lot of dirt and tried unsecsessful to not step on any of the plants.

Parkers bday candles and My Hut Trip!

Parker had a great time blowing out his candles on his birthday. He was unable to blow out candles at his party due to fire codes so this was his only opportunity. We lit them three times he had so much fun blowing them out. On his bday we took him to his first baseball game at the minor leagues here in the Springs. He had fun cheering and clapping. It was a very family friendly park.

It seems like over the last few weeks Parker has started saying a lot more words and putting more words together. He has also figured out that he can make mom and dad laugh when he is in trouble by doing something he knows we think is so cute. It definitely lightens the mood.

Last Friday night I went on "Hut Trip" with some girlfriends. We hiked UP 3.5 miles to an elevation of 11,700. It was a long tough hike but the result was more than worth it. We stayed in a large hut that was very nice but of course still didn't have running water or electricity. It was a lot of fun and I am looking forward to doing it again!!

I am the second one

A few of us snowshoed above the hut and above the tree line. The views were amazing!!!
