Christmas in Colorado

We hope all of you had a great Christmas with your family and friends. It was just the three of us for the holiday and we had a wonderful time. We will be celebrating a late Christmas with my parents and brothers for a few days in Winter Park where Nick and I will have the opportunity to snow board when my parents hang out with Parker.

On Christmas Eve we took Parker to Church, out to dinner and then to see some lights. The nursery is not open for Christmas Eve service at church so Parker had to sit with us. He enjoyed all the music but got restless when it was time to sit and be quiet. It is hard to keep him still for an hour.
He loved to see the lights. It was chilly out and hard to get him back in the car. This houses lights are set to music and Parker just loves music.

After Parker went to bed Nick and I put together his large toys. That was entertaining but we got it all together. He is one spoiled little boy.

He got this Boston bat and ball from my Friend Emily, Ryan and their baby Ella. He is a future Boston player

He loved his golf cart that Grandma Lynn and Grandpa Arthur got him. He loved riding in Grandma's golf cart with her when he was visiting so she thought he would love his own....and he did.

He kept making this face but we were not sure why

Love his books from Grandma and Grandpa Cline

We got him some food for his kitchen. He is already really good about picking out different pieces of food that we ask him for.

My uncle Kevin and grandparents (Parkers great uncle and great grandparents) got him this train. It took him a while to figure it out but he thinks it is so fun.

Nick and I knew he would love a Tball set...he is so dangerous

Grandma and Grandpa Cline brought this Jeep when they came in November, he is a little to short to reach the petals but still tries.

We went to a friends house for Christmas part

He will sit on his rocker and read his stories to himself. He just needs help getting up and down to get different books.

Chuck E Cheese

Tonight we went to Chuck E Cheese to hang out with some other families and let the kids play! Parker had a blast, it keeps him entertained for quite some time. Nick and I were exhausted by the time we left.

Parker driving with his buddy Trevor

He gets very afraid of characters. This is the third time he has seen Chuck E and this is the closest he has gotten. He just had to be latched onto me.

Getting into the dancing with Chuck E

He could have stayed on this all day

Last time he would not ride this ride because he was scared of Barney. He did not get too cozy with him this time but he at least sat next to him.

Saying Hi!

This was his favorite ride. Loved the horse and kept pushing the button to make it jump. Giddy up!!

Mr. Independent

Parker is 20 months old today and is starting to look and act less like a toddler and more like a little boy. He seems to think he can do things like a big boy and insists on doing things exactly like mom and dad.

He tries to be a big helper with the chores and helps wash and fold the laundry, put the clothes away, empty the dishwasher, dust and vacuum the floors. He gets so proud of himself., unfortunately it takes three times as long with his "help" but he loves to try.

We got Parker a little potty a few months back so he can start understanding its purpose. At first he was very upset when we sat him on it but he is now use to the idea. He has yet to actually go in the potty but he looks so cute sitting there. He will love these pictures when he is older =)

He sure does like his books. He gets up on the rocking chair and wants to cover up with the blanket and read his books. He is so serious about reading his stories to himself.

Parker loves his doggie. Poor Chance is more of a jungle gym for Parker, but Chance loves the attention.

he seems to love his celery.

Wearing daddy's hat

Parker wanted to help us set up the Christmas decorations. He was very good at helping bring the ornaments to me from Nick so I could put them on the tree. He has been such a good boy and left the tree alone and all the wrapped gifts after we told him no. Every night he gets all excited to turn on the lights on the tree. We count to three and then plug them in, he gets a big smile on his face and claps with excitement.

I never got around to finding a stocking for Parker last year that I liked so my mom made one for him. It came out really cute and it is something he can have for years to come!
