Thanksgiving

My Parents and brother, Adam, visited us for the Thanksgiving weekend.

Parker was all ready to eat and trying to be patient while we got all the food on the table.

We took the opportunity to visit Santa before the lines started getting too long for the holiday. Parker was extremely upset and did not want to get anywhere close to Santa. This is the only way he would not scream...daddy had to save him! So we all got to be in the picture

We went to the Royal Gorge. It was a beautiful day but a little cold. We drove across the bridge along with taking the gondola that takes you across the bridge. The views were amazing.

This is the highest suspended bridge in the world and a little bit scary because the boards on the bridge bounce up and down as you drive or walk across. There are also some very large gaps in the boards so you can see straight down to the bottom.

Adam decided to try the sling shot type ride that flys you out over the Gorge.

We took a ride down to the bottom, it was a lot colder down there by the water
This is a view from the bottom

Overall it was a great weekend. We also took parker to get his second haircut...pics to come later =)
We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving with family and friends. Now it is onto getting ready for Christmas. After my family left today we started putting up the Christmas decorations but decided to put it off a few more days. We seem to have more and more decorations to put up ever year....I am not sure how that happens =)

Parkers Scrapbook

I have been slowly learning how to use Photoshop to create Parkers Scrapbook. I decided to give up on paper scrapbooking because it 1) takes up to much space 2) is a pain to drag out to make pages 3) It has to be completely cleaned up when I want to take a break due to my little explorer and 4) I am into exploring the the neweset and latest things and this is it for scrapbooking =)

Just thought I would share the pages I have competed so far. Hopefully by Parkers 2nd bday I will be caught up with his scrapbook....but I am not making any promises.

Enjoy...

The words below printed great on the page...sorry you can not read them here

The next three layouts I did not create myself. I just added the pictures....but I need some of them to be easy or this scrapbook will never get done
