Painting, Teething and the Poor Dog

Parker loves to finger paint. I actually think his favorite part is running his hands through the paint. Luckily it was bath night!

Nick usually trims Chances hair when he gets hot and sheds a lot in the summer. When Parker and I were away Nick decided to do just that. During the process the blade cover fell off went between the cracks on the deck and was unreachable. Nick apparently thought he could still shave Chance without the cover and not get so close.....well this is what happened. Poor dog I think he was embarrassed!!

Parker likes to brush his teeth....or just suck the toothpaste. I had let him have his independence, which he tries to get often, and brush his own teeth. Now it is extreamly hard for me to brusth them correctly because he wants to do it himself.

It has been such a process for Parker to get his teeth in. He only has about 8 (minus the busted one) and they come in one at a time very slowly, so it is rough for the whole family. Nick was with Parker all afternoon and said he has been so cranky. He is getting in the second molar (the fang looking ones) and those are not fun. I think we will be heading to bed early tonight because it will probably be a long night!!

Getting this started

I have seen several of my friends that have kids start blogs to help their fam and friends stay in touch with what is going on. I thought it was a cute idea and finally just decided to get one started. Parker is just growing so fast that it is hard to keep everyone current on all the new cute things he is figuring out every day.

I will try to post on here often so feel free to stop by anytime if you are interested in what is going on mainly with Parker.

Quick Update:
Parker is now 15 months and has been walking for over a month now. For the most part everyone knows about his walking accident where he busted out his front tooth. Luckily he is fine but will just have a big gap until the adult one grows in. About two weeks ago Parker stared going to a new day care center. He is with an in home provider on base and she is just great. She adores and spoils him. I liked the on base in home care because the providers are heavily regulated and checked up on unlike the states do. A few weeks ago Parker finished his first swimming class. He loves the water and Nick and I had a great time taking him.

Now onto the typical "Blog"
Yesterday Nick called me into the basement to show me him and Parkers new game with parker hiding in the desk. Parker thought it was so much fun.

We try to explore the different places to take Parker around the springs. This city has an ubundance of parks so there is always some place different to go. Today we went to the spray park. It was so cute!! It took parker a little time to get use to the idea but then he loved it.

I dont understand how Parker gets himself into some of the situation he does but it is always highly entertaining. He was trying to pick up Nicks flip flops and got his butt against the step and could not figure out how to move. He was stuck and pissed about it. Nick and I could not help but laugh. Poor guy....we find so much humor at his expense. It really was hilarious
